Miesha Tate will serve as the grand marshal for the Spring Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway on June 12 (FS1, 1 p.m. ET).
UFC bantamweight champion will give the command to start the race.
“I’m excited and honored to be the grand marshal for the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway,” Tate said. “There are a lot of things I look forward to doing at the track, but to give the command to start the engines is at the top of my list for sure.”
Miesha Tate beat Holly Holm at UFC 196 and took title at the MGM Grand. And Tate is going to face her title against Amanda Nunes at UFC 200 in Las Vegas.
