UFC Women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate said at the UFC 200 press conference, she never turned down a rematch with Holm before agreeing to defend her title against Nunes.
Miesha Tate is going to defend her title at UFC200 on July 9 against Amanda Nunes at the T-Mobile Arena. Tate took this title to Holm at UFC 196 on March 5, 2016.
After defeated to Holly Holm at UFC 193, on 14 November 2015, Ronda Rousey has been out of action. At UFC 193, Holly Holm took her out in second round of fight and knocked her out with brutal kick.
After UFC 193, Ronda Rousey was giveb medical suspension for six-month and expected to return in action at UFC 200 on July, 2016. Now Dana White confirmed that Ronda Rousey is not coming back in action in UFC 200, she will back later this year in November/December 2016.
After UFC 193, Holly Holm defended her title against Miesha Tate and Tate choked her out in UFC 196 and became women’s bantamweight champion. Now UFC have issued UFC 200 fight card and Tate will defend her title to Amanda Nunes. Holm didn’t get her rematch with Tate, now UFC though Holm vs Ronda’s rematch for break all previous PPV records .
Miesha Tate said in her interview that she is ready to face anyone, being champion is not her duty to pick up her opponent.
Ronda Rousey talked with UFC President Dana White and said she will back in this year and she’s not giving any specific date.
Dana White confirmed on Sunday in ESPN interview that Ronda Rousey will return in later this year, expected months November/December and she will fight winner of UFC 200 Amanda Nunes vs Miesha Tate.
Dana White announced UFC 200 fight card Miesha Tate will face Amanda Nunes, Holm didn’t get the rematch. Last month Holm lost her UFC Women’s bantamweight title to Meisha Tate at UFC 196 in Las Vegas.
Two weeks ago, Dana White confirmed that Ronda Rousey will return in Nov/Dec 2016, now instead of Holm, Amanda included UFC 200 fight card.
Before announcement of UFC 200 Tate said she doesn’t cares who will next Ronda or Holm, being champion is not my job to pick opponent.
Holm gave interview last night and said:
"I'll be ready either way," Holm said. "If I rematch with Ronda, I'm gonna train my butt off. If I rematch with Tate, I'm gonna train my butt off. If they give me one of the other top girls in the meantime, I'm gonna train my butt off.
"I feel like at this point, not having the rematch, which is what I really wanted, I kind of just changed my train of thought to just be open to whatever. I don't want to be so focused on that that if something else comes my way that I don't take advantage of the opportunity."
Maybe the UFC will get Holm vs. Rousey 2 this year after all.

Holm's manager, Lenny Fresquez also implied that Tate was actually offered to fight Holm, but turned down the offer.
"She chose to take a weaker opponent," said Fresquez. "She's not as stand-up as Holly. She said she'd take on the best, but she's not willing to take on the best." The champion denied the statement via MMA Junkie, and revealed that it was in fact the UFC's idea that she fights Nunes next.
"They thought that Amanda was the next best girl in line," Tate said. "They were like, ‘Look, you just beat Holly. You finished her.' They didn't feel that it was necessary to have an immediate rematch; it didn't warrant an immediate rematch. It wasn't one of those performances or such a crazy fight that we've got to have an immediate rematch.
"It was kind of like, ‘Let's open up the division - we'd like you to fight Amanda,'" Tate added. "I said, ‘Cool.' Amanda's someone I've had my eye on for a while, and I know she's had her eye on me. Now's the time we get to get in there and do what we do."
On July 9, at UFC 200 Miesha Tate is going to face Amanda Nunes to defend her title, best of luck Miesha.

UFC’s president Dana White confirmed after having dinner with ex-ufc women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey this week, she’s ready to return at the end of the year.
In last November, Ronda Rousey lost her first match and her bantam weight title to Holly Holm at UFC 193. Holm knocked her down with vicious head-kick.
Ronda Rousey had started MMA with the goal to retire as undefeated to Mixed Martial Arts and leave the sport as greatest fighter of all the time.
"I just had dinner with her the other night. She's in a great place mentally, physically, emotionally — every way you can be good, she's good," White told TMZ this week. "She's talking about coming back at the end of this year
