Miesha Tate: ‘It’s Not My Job As a Champ to Pick Who is Next’

Miesha Tate beat Holly Holm at UFC 196 in Las Vegas and now she is current UFC women’s bantamweight Champion. Now Miesha Tate wants to defend her title sooner rather than later, she said being champion she doesn’t cares who is next Ronda or Holm. It’s not my job as a champion to pick who is next, she said.

Miesha Tate is not interesting to wait for Ronda Rousey’s return in UFC. She said, “I’d like to say active being a UFC champ. I don’t know if I really want to wait for Ronda’s return. I’d to defend my title sooner, whoever is next I doesn’t cares.

Tate replied on questioned:

“It’s not really my job as the champ to pick who is next. I need to fight whoever they put in front of me,” she said.
